What Makes Our Culture so much different , Here in America, Is that Many people In New Orleans were not and had never been Slaves...These Free People were property owners who were highly educated and were some of the wealthiest People in Ante Bellum Louisiana during a time when most people in America were in Bondage...In Fact, They were some of the wealthiest People in America.. the Let's face it The Louisiana Creole is different from His African American cousin in many ways...

The Tale of two Catholic Creole Churches

As You might know, most Louisiana Creoles are Catholic by Heritage. Now in Louisiana there are two World famous Creole Catholic Churches that share the same name.. St Augustine Church in Northern Louisiana at Cane River and another located in New Orleans in Southern Louisiana..

Both were built by free people of color and both claim to be the oldest Churches in America Built by free People of Color...Let's see which one really holds this title and just Why they have so much in common.............................story coming soon
