I am happy to have located your very interesting website--in particular information on Louisiana creoles and those from Haiti and Mexico. Thank you and all the best, Fredline Jean-Baptiste Washington, D.C.

I was very happy to come across this website. Coming from New Orleans(born and rasied) it is very hard to see a face like mine since the hurricane. It feels almost hopeless from the days of the 7th ward were all creoles resided in the 70's till now were we are lost two the four corners of the world. Is there any hope for us?? Is our race going to be talked about in the future as being extinct? What will become of our rich culture, our creole festival? It seems most of this isn't in the present time anymore it only exists in memories. I hope we can preserve our culture not just let it slip away with the famlies that moved away and with those who have passed away.
