Pierre and Albert Hoa

free man of color

2022-2024 Dauphine Street
New Orleans, La.
(1841 - present)
William Kinkaide, a free man of color, drew plans and built this row of three creole cottages for Pierre and Albert Hoa in 1841 for $6250. The narrow alleys between the houses are bricked and once were guarded by narrow batten gates. All have lost the second-level dormers.
